NW Flower and Garden Show gives Gold medals
Congratulations to all the hard work from designers, volunteers and members of WALP, APLD and WSNLA who won gold medals at the recent NW Flower and Garden Show. I'm so proud to be a member of these associations. The involvement in this show gives landscape professionals a lot of exposure. Three days of creating these beautiful gardens inside the Convention Center is a very rewarding experience.

Native Plant Display Garden
Linda Zimmer with Sandra Ingalls from Foresight ,Inc. are looking over the design for the new addition to the native garden display at the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden. As volunteers of WALP , Sandra provided the landscape concepts while Linda put her concepts into a CAD drawing. The construction of the garden has begun with the donation of ledgestone for outlining the beds from Marenakos , also a member of WALP.
Kruckeberg Botanic Garden is a public garden containing a unique blend of Pacific NW native plants and unusual exotics in a naturalistic, wooded setting. Located in Shoreline, WA, the garden is now owned by the City of Shoreline and operated by the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation.
